What should I expect during treatment for Optic Neuritis? - neuritis
I was just diagnosed on Friday, and I will go a neuro-ophthalmologist in the week. They said they would start with IV steroids and they would do an MRI and blood tests. I wonder what others experience during treatment. IV steroids if he could at home or in hospital to do? I was told I had to start a window of 2-3 weeks to receive treatment, as I do not quite understand because I read everything I could find nothing more than a certain period of processing time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I had no IV treatment with steroids, but what I understand to be the first treatment may be performed in a hospital to be monitored in the case of the reaction or a problem. Since then, many are opting for home treatment.
I read that early treatment improves the chances of recovery of vision. I think before the items that you had, but went searching and came up with these two sites. Hope it helps.
